Kemi Tourism Ltd. offers unique arctic experiences in Kemi, Sea Lapland. We operate the Icebreaker Sampo and the Kemi SnowCastle with the SnowRestaurant, the SnowHotel and and different kinds of winter activities. Our international clientele comes from over 50 countries.

We are soon recruiting staff for the 2018-2019 winter season. We offer versatile work profiles in our attractions and services. You will have the possibility to work in several tasks during the season – all of them dedicated to the well-being of our customers. We mostly offer work for the winter season but are developing our all-year-round services and are able to offer work throughout the year in the future.

We will be hiring waiters and kitchen staff, guides, cleaning and maintenence staff and customer service staff for the next winter season 2018-2019. The work is shift work during the winter season. Depending on the task the employment relationship begins in December or January.

We appreciate an open and positive attitude, customer service skills, flexibility and the ability to work well under pressure - situations can change quickly in the field of tourism. We require spoken English, and appreciate German, French, Spanish and Chinese skills. You should have previous experience in customer service, and be able and willing to work outdoors in winter conditions.

We offer you a fair employment relationship with a written contract that obeys the applicable laws on pay and other terms of employment (MaRa TES). We offer both seasonal employment and trainee positions. Our company has a smoke-free policy in all of our venues.

We are enforcing our sales team and are looking for a sales manager to be in charge of our international b-to-b and b-to-c sales in our travel company. The main emphasis of your work is in consumer and FIT sales. Your responsibilities in addition of sales planning and sales work include also drawing up contracts as well as caring for customer relations. You will work within the authority of the sales director, in close cooperation with the sales department manager and persons in charge of the company.

The requirements include experience in b-to-c and b-to-b sales as well as proof of doing profitable sales work. You have a business education suitable for the position. Experience in the field of travel business is for advantage, but not necessary. Above all we expect you to be sales oriented, passion for sales, active in your working style and knowledgeable of quality care in customer service. You introduce and promote eagerly the vast selection of our product services to target groups, you know how to listen to the customer and know how to complete the sales process effectively. You have excellent communication and negotiation skills; you are active and enterprising with great initiative. We also require the sense of responsibility and the willingness to develop and handle complete entities.

We are looking for a good person capable of captivating the customer with his personality. You fare well in a dynamic, fast-paced working environment with your positive and energetic working attitude. You enjoy challenging yourself for great results and inspire others to succesfuls sales work. You enjoy moving/changeable work and are willing to adjust to situations. Work enquieres travelling. You speak and write at least English, other languages are considered as advantage. Digitalism is part of everyday work and you feel comfortable using digital tools at your work and enthusiasm in developing them.
